What is permanent jewelry?

Permanent jewelry is custom, classless jewelry. We fit the chain of your choice to you and micro-weld it together with a solid gold jump ring. They are salt proof, sweat proof, and water proof so you don’t have to take it off until you want to!

How do you make it a party?

Tell us where to go and we’ll bring the studio to you! Everything you need to make a custom fine or permanent jewelry brought right to your door. Doesn’t matter if you’re at a VRBO, resort, or hotel, we’ll come to you and make it happen! More information about parties can be found here.

How much does it cost?

Does it hurt?

Nope! We protect your skin from the welding process with a strip of leather so it’s completely painless.

Is there an age limit?

Due to federal regulations concerning the lead content certification of children’s jewelry, we are only able to weld sterling silver chains on anyone under 13 years old. This restriction does not have anything to do with the safety of welding or permanent jewelry and is solely to do with the manufacturing specification of children’s jewelry.

How long does it last?

About 3-5 years. Obviously, things like lifestyle and chain selection can have an effect of the lifetime of your jewelry, and keep in mine gold filled and sterling chains are considered fine jewelry so the better you take care of it, the longer it will last you!

What if I need to take it off?

Simply clip the welded jump ring with kitchen scissors or even nail clippers and hang on to the chain if you’d like it re-welded or a clasp added to it!

Can I go through TSA with it on?

Oh yes! Our chains will not set off any security alarms and are dainty enough that TSA won’t even ask you.

Can I get it wet?

Absolutely! All of our chains are sweat proof, salt proof, and water proof. All jewelry needs to be cleaned occasionally but that’s as easy as a few swipes with a polishing cloth or even a quick rinse with soap and water.

Will it tarnish?

Yes, all jewelry tarnishes eventually and needs to be cleaned occasionally. The important part is that the finish will not wear off and become a different color permanently.

What if my chain breaks?

If your chain or weld site breaks, please hang on to your chain and it can be re-welded by us or any other permanent jewelry artist!
